Load frame in which vertical and lateral loads of 100 MPa and 10 MPa, respectively, can be applied. Specimen enclosure with transparent front for application of hydraulic pressure up to 15 MPa at flow rates op to 0.5 ml/s. Visual observations with high speed (up to 25700 fps, 1 MP) and high resolution camera (1fps, 42 MP); 8 AE sensors (5 MHz). The pore fluid is applied via a Pressure Volume Actuator making it possible to use different pore fluids. The specimens are prismatic (50x100x25mm, 75x159x25mm) with artificially cut initial fractures.
